The use of drugs in sports

In these days, drugs have become very popular. But something shocking about them is that people want to use them in order to compete and win in important competitions such as the Olympics.

Although drugs are bad for people’s health, some people agree with using them. These drugs are called steroids; they raise the level of resistance in people, making them faster and more athletic.

These people do not need to practice so much, because the steroids give them enough strength.

On the other hand, there are people that are against steroids. These people claim that steroids are terrible for health and, in other words, people who use them cheat in the competitions. Because this is an advantage for them to win.

In my opinion, I disagree with the use of steroids, because they damage people and, because of them the spirit of competition disappears.

Nowadays people are not interested in enjoying and having fun in competitions. Everything is about winning, which is sad because people have to win by their own talent and effort.
